If you use the iPhone or iPad's built-in Calendar app, you can sync it with Google Calendar so that any appointments your VoiceForge agent books appear automatically on your Apple device — no manual checking of two separate calendars required.
Before you start
Make sure you have both of the following set up first:
- A Gmail account connected to VoiceForge Pro — confirm this at Agent Edit → Integrations
- Your Google account details (email and password) available on your iPhone or iPad
Adding your Google account to iPhone or iPad
If you use 2-Step Verification and have an older iOS version that doesn't support it directly, you'll need to use an App Password instead of your regular password. Generate one at myaccount.google.com/apppasswords.
Syncing an account you already added
If you previously added your Google account to your iPhone (for Gmail or Contacts) but didn't enable calendar sync at the time:
- Go to Settings → Calendar → Accounts
- Tap your Google account from the list
- Toggle Calendars to on
Your Google Calendar events will begin syncing immediately.
If events aren't appearing
- Check the calendar is visible — open Calendar, tap Calendars at the bottom, and make sure your Google calendar has a tick next to it
- Force a sync — pull down on the Calendar events list to trigger a manual refresh
- Check your internet connection — calendar sync requires an active connection
- Re-enter your password — if your Google password changed recently, go to Settings → Calendar → Accounts → [your Google account] and re-authenticate
- Check the correct calendar is selected in VoiceForge — go to Agent Edit → Integrations → Google Calendar and confirm the booking calendar matches the one you're looking at in Apple Calendar
Android users
On Android, Google Calendar is already built in and syncs automatically with your Google account. If you've connected VoiceForge Pro to your Google account, all agent bookings will appear in the Google Calendar app on your Android device with no additional setup required.
If you're using a Samsung device and prefer the Samsung Calendar app, go to Samsung Calendar → Settings → Sync calendars and enable your Google account there.
